Such a lovely little book to be able to read with my son.
Ideal for little hands as the book has big flaps making it easy to turn.
I won’t ruin it by stating what the book is about as it is only a short story, however that said it is well worth reading.
My little boy will not leave it alone.
It has good illustrations throughout.

This is a lovely Ted book, having read another one my baby was already familiar with the character of Ted.  This time Ted is ready to delve into a story adventures he thinks of all the different types he can have, from fairy tales to spooky adventures.  We love the illustrations in this book, and the way it will spark imagination  in older children.  The big page flaps are great for little hands too.

A lovely, sturdy board book which is capable of withstanding the most heavy-handed of toddlers. We have a lot of “lift the flap” books at home which are most suited to my youngest child (15 months). However, they are often flimsy (Dear Zoo is just one example) and the flaps are often torn or ripped off entirely. I’m sure my little one makes this a challenge of his.

However, because the flaps of this book are very thick and are the size of the entire page, they’re very easy for small hands to lift and turn. They’re also very strong, so it would be very hard to tear or rip.

Behind each flap is a lovely example of a phrase that will get your little one laughing “Stompity Stomp Stomp” and “Fee Fi Fo Fum” has my little one giggling away. He thoroughly enjoyed this book.

The only improvement I could think of for this book would be the make the colours more vivid so that the images were more eye-catching for younger readers.

This book is most suited for under threes and perfect for those who are just showing an interest in books.

I read Storytime with Ted to my mixed age Diversity group this afternoon and we discussed how it would appeal to a younger audience, which was a very valuable exercise.  The flaps got a big thumbs up because the group appreciated how much younger children would enjoy handling and exploring the book. They thought the colourful pictures were very appealing and Ted himself is friendly and likeable in his bobble hat, socks and boots.  There's a surprise under each flap and words a young reader would really enjoy joining in with. A gorgeous book, the group agreed and they would recommend it as a first book for young readers.

I liked this book with the big flaps, it was very easy to read and the pictures were fun. I liked the dinosaurs the best. I think it's better for younger children though. Like my little cousin.

The illustrations are bold and eye catching. My daughter found the flaps really easy to lift and liked that the colour theme changed on each double page. She enjoyed the story and asked me to read it again as soon as we had finished it. She then enjoyed saying "story time ted" on each new section.  She has chosen it herself a few times now so it was obviously a hit

The boys loved this story. It's so captivating and magical with only using simple words and phrases. The eldest loved to guess what the story would be about behind the flaps. A great little read.

A colourful lift the flap book with sturdy flaps and good pictures. Each page is more stand-alone than a running story throughout-but it is perfect for very little readers.

Beautiful chunky book with big flaps which are perfect for little hands. The pictures are fantastic and fill the imagination.
My 1 year old enjoys the book but the is no actual story as such. Each page is about Ted on a mini adventure within a sentence or two.

It is a nice book and we have enjoyed it.

We read this book 4 times in the first instance so it was definitely a hit! This is a flap book ideal for small hands. A gentle romp through the world of literature and it's possibilities with some lovely colourful illustrations. Features the repetition that small children love so much. Maybe more could have been made of the different animals taking charge of the bookcase on each page....but that night be just me :)

Albert really enjoys this book, we are so grateful for the opportunity to read it. It's really colourful and random which Albert loved. Full of imagination. Just wish it was longer. We read it very quickly. I can't wait for Albert to start to learn to read. This will be a really good book for this

This book doesn’t have a story as such however, it does tell you the adventures of ted. The big flaps are excellent for little hands. The pictures are bright and colourful and can led on to lots of discussions for older children such as toddlers. I would say this book is perfect for small children. We enjoyed reading it.
