Delight in a beautifully realised and very funny exploration of colour, the relationship between different objects and the power of the imagination.

Orange Pear Apple Bear is a wonderfully simple and engaging picture book from award-winning author/illustrator Emily Gravett. By rearranging just four words, Emily Gravett creates a series of playful images which are a sheer joy - and intensely satisfying. The loose energy of the pencil and watercolour pictures will be irresistible to adults and children alike. Perfect for reading out loud to very young children.

A delightful book about a bear and fruits. Only five words are used throughout this book in different combinations. The illustrations are simple and charming.
A great book to encourage children to think outside the box.

This is such a fun book and my 2-year-old and I absolutely love it. It's a very simple concept based on very few words. It plays around with the four key words of the title with fun illustrations. It's simplicity is what makes it so compelling and we are going to buy our own copy (we had borrowed this one from the library). We will definitely look out for more from this author.

This is such a fantastic book! It's been loved by my children since they were babies and is still a firm favourite now.

It's charm and beauty is in it's simplicity and the creativity of the author/ illustrator in bringing the concept to life! The premise of the book is that the words orange; pear; apple and bear are continuously rearranged and paired with fantastic and beautiful pictures inspired by those combinations.

It's a wonderful book to read and share with babies and toddlers; my own two toddlers adore this and will frequently select it themselves to look at independently.

I can't recommend this book highly enough.

Not only is this book hilarious for both adult word-geeks and toddlers alike, it's also one of the first books my son could 'read' all the way through himself. Clever and simple at the same time, it manages to introduce plot, character and humour in only 5 words. My son loves it and so do I.
