At the origin of this magnificent Arts & Crafts book sits the success of Origami for Children. We wanted to revisit the exciting topic of paper craft to deepen the techniques of paper folding but also to show other ways of working this fascinating material. The 100 creative projects developed in The Art of Paper are simple to make and their final products are surprisingly beautiful. Creative ideas are grouped by different techniques, all exciting for children: cardboard crafting, decopatch, decoupage, the art of making paper lanterns, origami and folding, quilling, papier-mache, paper braiding, the art of making paper stained glass. Children will use these techniques to produce either useful or artistic objects, such as paper animals, home and garden decorations, toys, flowers, clothing articles, lanterns, baskets, magic boxes, small gifts or paper stained glass. The stages of creation are clearly described and illustrated step by step with photos and, if necessary, with drawings. Each creative idea is displayed on two to four pages. A photograph always shows the final product.
