It is amazing what one can create by folding one or two sheets of paper! This book proposes 50 creative ideas, all of them easy to make, even by small children. The various tasks are grouped by themes which are sure to pique children's interest: Animals (make a butterfly with flapping wings or a frog that jumps); Aircraft and Boats (fold paper into different types of crafts ready for launch); Toys (make tiny finger puppets or water bombs that swell on their own); Flowers (roses to adorn a hat, or wreaths to decorate one's hair); Decorations (discover the world of paper boxes, always so helpful when wrapping gifts or for storage purposes). Each of the 50 creative ideas is displayed on two to four pages. Step-by-step instructions are described very clearly with photographs and, when necessary, using drawings. A picture always shows the final product. Origami for Children introduces kids to the pleasures of creating objects using one's own hands, simply by folding paper. This is also an opportunity for adults to share quality-moments with their children.
