The final (and best) book in the Dreamsnatcher trilogy, we meet Moll and Griff back in Tanglefern, as with the help of the Elders, they look for clues to find the final Amulet, knowing it won’t be long before the last two Shadowmasks being hunting for them. With the Old Magic struggling to break through the Dark Magic’s growing power, Moll, Gryff, Siddy and Domino set off for the north to the lands full wild, and they’ll need every ounce of courage, hope, friendship and resilience they can muster if they are to stop the eternal night from descending…

Magic and mayhem abound in this captivating adventure. The vivid settings pull you into Moll’s world, as you journey with her through dense forests, never ending moors, rocky seas and treacherous mountains filled with witches, bog monsters and giants. At the heart of this story sits the meaning of true friendship, and the courage, hope, determination and comfort that it brings.

I opened this book with mixed emotions; I couldn’t wait to see where Moll’s adventure would take me next, but I also knew that in turning the last page, I’d be saying goodbye to characters and magical world that Abi Elphinstone has woven through three superb books. But, while it’s goodbye to Moll and her family and friends, I know that wherever Abi chooses to take us next, I’ll be right there at the front of the queue, ready to dive in.

Great for fans of Harry Potter, Eva Ibbotsen, Piers Torday, Michelle Harrison and Robin Jarvis.

I really enjoyed this book. Molly was my favourite character and I loved it when she was brave. Wormhook was a very scary character.

, This was a thrilling book with lots of action. It was also very very funny and made me laugh out loud. I would really like to read the other two books in the series.

What a gripping story and with a strong female main character.  This is the final book in a trilogy and it did not disappoint.  My boys were hooked from the first page and desperate to know if Moll was going to be able to save everyone from the dark magic.

It was such a page turner that we read it as a bedtime story in just over a week as even I was thinking, 'just one more chapter...!'

This book can stand alone but I would recommend that you read the three books in order as they are a really great series of good overcoming evil.

I'll start off by saying that this is the third and final book in this trilogy by Abi Elphinstone- the first is The Dreamsnatcher, followed by The Shadow Keeper. The book obviously has strong ties to the previous books as the story is ongoing but i believe that you can read the books as stand alone stories if you wish. If you haven't read them, i really suggest that you do- they wont disappoint!

This book is full of adventure and so much bravery! Every page is dripping with excitement and every chapter is simply thrilling, i've been on the edge of my seat reading it!

The story carries a fast pace and while i'm sure younger readers may find it's 300 odd pages a hard slog, it's sheer excitement had me reading as fast as i could. I was entirely swept up in the story and couldn't put it down.

I have just got this book and started to read it with my mam straight away
This book is quiet long and more suited to older children around 9-10 years old
So far the book is good but I didn't realise it is part of a trilogy so I wish I had waited and read the first book before starting this one
I will continue with this book now as it is enjoyable and I feel like I've picked up without reading the other books
Good story and would recommend

This is the final book in a trilogy that follows Moll, Her wildcat Gryff and her friend Siddy as they go on a mystical adventure to find a friend that they think they have lost. This book refers back to the earlier books so we suggest reading the other books first. Sebastian did enjoy it as a stand alone book and now wants to go back and read the earlier stories

I haven't read the other two books and this is the third one, it refers back to them so I think I needed to read them first.

however it was still funny in places its a long book but it put me off a bit as I didn't always understand everything going off.

I didn't understand this because it talked about things that I didn't know about. Then my dad told me that it was part of a series of books. I think that it's the sort of book that would be better if it could introduce the things better.

The final book in the trilogy, the story of the quest to find all three Amulets of Truth continues as Moll and her friends set off on a series of further adventures.

The story is immersed in magic, and quests and adventure, with lots of twists and turns. There is a classic challenge of the struggle between good and bad.  I think that my son found it a bit hard to engage with as this genre is not perhaps his favourite - while he likes magical themes, I think that he prefers them in a more 'realistic' setting - in these stories you really have to transport yourself to another world.  For children who like such adventures, this is a great series : )

I was given this book to review by Scoop Magazine (a thoroughly interesting ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ magazine!)
In three words: escapist, epic, adventure. Moll and her wild dog called Gryff live as gypsies in Tanglewood forest which is part of an imaginary world. They are trying to find the Amulet of Truth and free their land from the dark magic which poisons people's minds and will create an everlasting darkness. Along with their friends named Domino and Sid, they receive a sign and then start out on an adventure through dangerous places like Glendrummie and the Clattering Gorge. On the way they meet many characters also trying to stop the Shadowmasks, and others sent to stop them from finding the Amulet. It reminded me of the Hobbit, especially with the map at the start of the book.
It is a detailed, thrilling story with lots of things happening and interesting people and places. Because of this you will need to concentrate so it is not a book you can dip in and out of. The Night Spinner concludes a trilogy of Moll’s adventures, the others being Dream Snatcher and the Shadow Keeper. I have only read the first of these and it certainly helps both to know what to expect and a little of the backstory, but you could read this book without knowing the others and still really enjoy it. Moll has become more determined and fearless in this final story which makes it the best in my mind. The friends together use really cool strategies to defeat the enemies. The story showed me you need courage, hope and determination more than anything to beat an enemy.

I didn't really like this book I read the first few chapters but I couldn't understand much of it. After I had given up on reading it I found out that it's part of a series. I probably would of liked it more if I read the first book before. I might try reading it gain when I am a bit older. It's just not the right book for me now.
