She taught History and English Literature at an international school in Hong Kong for several years, before returning to the UK to work for the BBC as a staff writer on children's magazines. Smriti lives in Richmond, England. Sebastien Braun studied fine and applied arts at Strasbourg University and taught applied arts before becoming a freelance illustrator for editorial clients in Paris. When he moved to London in 2000, he developed his children's illustration style and since then has been working exclusively on children's picture books, including Meeow and the Little Chairs, On Our Way Home, and The Ugly Duckling (all Boxer Books). He lives in London.
