Mel Slater is busy trying to get his new bar cleaned and tidied up, ready for opening. Tom Burton runs a shop nearby and offers to help, but even he can't help when Mel finds a rat living in his bar. When Mel discovers the name of the former owner of the bar, and the rat mysteriously disappears each time they think they've caught it, Tom begins to think all is not as it seems...
