After finding an abandoned baby, 13-yr-old Amy sets out to find the mother.

On her way home from school, 13-year-old Amy finds a newborn baby abandoned at the village bus stop. It's wrong, just like when Mum walked out on Amy and her sister ten years ago - so she tries to fix it, by finding the baby's mother. But as Amy searches, she uncovers another story, a secret even closer to home.

A thought-provoking story exploring the complexities of family, friends and making difficult choices.

I loved the part when Zelda tells Amy, marten and Eden About Eva and Pamela.
I didn't like the parts when they cried because it makes me want to cry to.
My favourite character was Amy because she is really well behaved and has a really cool nan.
My least favourite character is Jodie.I thought she was nice but she is mean, bossy and horrid.
I really Enjoyed this story and I would read it again of all costs.

I absoloutley love this book it is a bit sad in places but it is so funny and relaxing when they go to the hospital and get to see baby amy all snuggled up and healthy but i was really shocked when Zelda was the mum of baby deidre and before that named Eve.

I really enjoyed reading Bus Stop Baby and once I'd started couldn't put it down as I needed to know what would happen next. From finding a baby abandoned in a bus stop, to finding out a family secret, Amy realises that the world isn't as black and white as she once believed. This is a story of friendship and family, of kindness and understanding, and of right and wrong and the vast grey area in between. A lovely story that will help children see the world around them through more sympathetic eyes.

Amy is a typical 13 year old girl until she finds a baby abandoned at a bus stop on her way home from school. Despite having friendship issues she becomes determined to find the baby's mother and gains the help of her cool Nan Zelda. During the search some family secrets are unearthed. It's quite an emotional story in places and it made me teary. I loved this book and would like to read Fleur Hitchcock's other books.

This is a really great story. Amy is an interesting character who finds an abandoned baby at a bus stop. Whilst searching to finds the babys mother she finds out family secrets of her own. I couldn't put this book down, there are lots of highs and lows some of which are very sad. Its all about relationships, friends and family. I relay enjoyed this and would recommend to people of all ages over 9.

I liked this book because of the way it felt so real. The main character went to school, lived in a village, and was gear ally normal. It shows that whoever you are, weird things can happen.
But for me, this book wasn't a page-turner. Even though I usually wanted to find out what happened next, it wasn't in a way that most books usually have.
All in all, I enjoyed this book, but I think there could've been more adventure and excitement.
