I'm normally not that into poetry, but Roald Dahl is a really good writer and I love this book.
My favorite poems are 'The Lion' and 'The Scorpion' because they are really funny and easy to read. Some of the poems can be quite long, which is OK if you read them in your head - but I get out of breath if I read them out loud!
I also like this book because I remember some of the characters in the poems from Roald Dahl's other books, like the Roly Poly Bird from the Enormous Crocodile.
I like this kind of poetry and would recommend it to other children.
