I can't believe that this book was as good as Hetty Feather! I didn't think that was possible, but it has the same bittersweet tone and Hetty moves very quickly through a bunch of situations - and the best bit was I could never predict what her next move was going to be! I love her determination and I always want things to work out perfectly for her!

I absolutely love this book.  It's the book that follows Hetty Feather and I love that book and the TV programme too.
In this book Hetty is sent to live as a servant to a writer but when he takes her diary and copies it she gets angry and he dismisses her without a reference.  So Hetty sets out to find her Mum and spends a lovely day on the seaside with a nice family she meets (this is my favourite bit).
I can't wait to read Emerald Star now to find out what happens next.
Anyone who likes Jaqueline Wilson will like this book, especially if they have read Hetty Feather.

Sapphire Battersea is the second book in the Hetty Feather series. I really enjoyed this book because it is set in the Victorian era and I really like history. These are some of the characters in the book. Sapphire Battersea, Bertie, and Ida. Bertie is a butcher's boy and is very funny.I would recommend this book because in some parts Sapphire is very happy and in others she is very sad.

This book Is great just like its writer!
This is about a young girl called...Well she has quite alot of names..Hetty Feather,Sapphire Battersea,Emerald Star.
Well thats a mouthful. But at the min we will talk about the book.So basically Sapphire Is the name her mother gave her when she was little. And your probably wondering how do you know what name her mother gave her?Well read the book to find out!But I would totally recommend this book It can be funny Exciting but also a bit sad and Irritating.
Thanks for reading my review!
