This fiction book has been written for Key Stage 1 children to teach them about the safe use of medicine. It has been designed by teachers and Health Education Consultants to be used as part of the Literacy Hour and/or PSHE and Citizenship work in the classroom. It can be used through cross curricular work in PE and Science. The termly ojectives and high frequency words taken from the National Literacy Strategy (1999) are listed at the back of the book. Together with discussion points and teaching aids, this book gives teachers resources that can be used to complement their teaching.
