Excellent book with lots of great facts, kids love the flaps. It's quite a busy book for younger children but keeps them entertained and is very educational. Would be great with real photos rather than illustrations

A great informational book about space.
I love how Usborne always include so many fun facts and illustrations into all of the books. These are by far the best lift the flap books on the market ad i would recommend them to anyone!

I love the see inside books. I have lots. I really like the space one. It is full of lift flaps with interesting facts. I could spend hours reading them, imaging space and being an astronaut like Tim Peake. Very nice pictures.

This book can keep my little ones entertained for ages. It has lots of information in it about Space and the Universe. It starts with the Big bang, and timeline about the people involved in discovering space, the solar system and space travel. It has lots and lots of flaps to turn over and read. It's a lovely book which my kids love.

All of the Usbourne 'See Inside..' books are fantastic and this is no exception. The lift the flap element really engaged my daughter and was a great way of learning about the contents for her current topic. The book is great quality; thick and durable paper and flaps, lively illustration and text. Thoroughly recommended.

I chose this myself from the bookshop. I love information books about space, and I have quite a few. I didn't have this one, so chose it as I like the Usborne books, and liked that it was lift the flap, as it makes it more interesting, rather than just reading, you get to see what's underneath the flap. There is a contents page, so you can skip to certain pages if you want, ot just read it In order. I read it in order, but then went back to bits I was more interested in when I read it again. There are lots of facts, and I learnt new things. I liked at the back it gave you a map of the stars. I enjoyed the bits about the milky way and space travel the best. It is a book I will read many times over.

We collect the 'See Inside' books by Usbourne as we find they are really good sources of bite size information for children, and the lift flaps keep the books interesting and interactive.
With Tim Peake's space station experience being reported in the news at the moment, my eldest son was keen to find out more about space - so we pulled out this book. I had forgotten how jam packed this book is with information, with some big concepts to grasp like the Big Bang. However, I feel that Katie Daynes has done a brilliant job at carving up the information so it's easy to understand, educational and interesting at the same time.
My four year old also likes to look at the book. While the information goes over his head - the illustrations are so captivating that he learns from these.
This book is a keeper and one that can be returned to time and time again. Every time we read it, I also learn something new!

Another fantastic lift-the-flap book from Usbourne. This book contains over 50 flaps for children to explore. The information is presented is both in depth and short making it engaging but not daunting. Each set of double pages contains one topic, making it a great book to dip in and out of.  You can spend as little or as long as you want reading this book, making it a great choice for curious minds who might not have long concentration spans just yet.  My son loves this book : )
