Best New Books for Babies

30th December 2018

baby with a book

I remember well those first few months when my kids were babies. Well, I say I 'remember', but I remember them as a blur, I remember being incredibly happy, incredibly tired and unable to do anything but the bare minimum to survive the day. But I always made time to read to my kids. Not because I thought it was necessarily a 'good' thing to do. But because it was a much needed chance to sit down for a moment, to snuggle up together, to relax and to giggle. I loved sharing my favourite past-time and even on the days when I thought I didn't have the energy, it was always a part of our bedtime routine. So it worries me when new parents say that they don't have the time to read to their babies, or don't think kids need books until they're older. It's NEVER too early to start reading to kids, the soothing sound of your voice, the quiet time together, the places you'll go and the fun that you'll have. If you haven't already, start today - please! It's never too early but it's also never too late.

There are lots of brilliant baby books coming out this year and we have 5 for you here, all available to win and review. Just login (or register if you haven't already) and click through to each book and fill out your delivery details.
