The Cruise Ship Kid books are a hilarious mixture of Tom Gates, Lottie Brooks and Murder Most Unladylike Mystery! Our protagonist is the ever so clever 10-year-old Silver, who lives on a cruise ship with her mother. While she's never had the chance to meet many other children her age, she does know a lot of people who travel via cruises, whose average age is around 80. But don't let that get you mixed up, because Silver is always up to something on the ship, and that's usually solving crimes while the old people play bingo (and sometimes help her)!

If your young reader aged 8+ enjoys mysteries, this book series is the perfect gift. Inside the books you'll also find quizzes and puzzles, as well as space to scribble and take notes as you solve the crimes with Silver. The cherry on top are Katie Saunder's illustrations throughout, which massively help with understanding the book, solving the crime and just being delighted whilst reading!
