Pia's Pet Club, written by the brilliant Serena Patel and illustrated throughout by Emma McCann, has been such a big hit with readers that adore animals aged 6 and 7+. 

Expect a laugh-out-loud animal adventures in which a young girl named Pia starts her own PET CLUB to help her friends look after their animals, since she is not allowed one of her own. From ecstatic puppies to kittens and parrots, Pia quickly has a LOT on her hands, and young readers love the chaos that ensues. Parents are big fans of this series as well, thanks to the representation of different family set-ups together with the illustrations and nice big font for young ones still learning to read independently.

Serena Patel and Emma McCann are also the authors of the Anisha, Accidental Detective books, which we love.
