Mr. Men Classic Library

Mr. Men is a series of books first published in 1971. In 1981, female characters were added and the series changed its name into Mr. Men & Little Miss. The books are set in the fictional “Misterland” and focus on characters named after human characteristics, including titles like Mr. Messy, or Little Miss Splendid, teaching children how to recognise their feelings while reading about the characters’ adventures. Mr. Men & Little Miss is an international best-seller, and has been widely translated around the world.

New series including Mr. Men & Little Miss Celebrations (about holidays or events like the Football World Cup), Mr. Men Adventures (including adventures under the sea, in the jungle, or with dinosaurs), and Mr. Men & Little Miss Everyday (about activities such as swimming, going to the park, or the zoo) were published from 2013 onwards. These books are based on the TV series The Mr. Men Show, which counts 52 episodes. While the original series was penned by Roger Hargreaves, the new books are written and illustrated by his son Adam Hargreaves, who is also the creator of the new series Molly Mischief.

The Mr. Men & Little Miss books in the new series are all 32 pages long, perfect for children aged 3+.
