If you loved A Series of Unfortunate Events, you cannot miss out on All the Wrong Questions, also by Lemony Snicket. Also completely tragic and funny and gothic for readers aged 8+.
Author Lemony Snicket is from a small town where the inhabitants were suspicious and prone to riot. He grew up near the sea and before he became a a broken man, wracked with misery and despair as a result of writing A Series of Unfortunate Events, he was an apprentice detective. That is when he asked all the wrong questions. Four to be exact. This series is the account of those questions.
From cases of arson to murder, Lemony Snicket's question always get him to the answers he needs, and with a good dose of macabre. To complete the books are two-colour illustrations throughout by Artist Seth.
