This is the first book series written by comedian and presenter of The Last Leg, Adam Hills. The middle-grade detective novels feature an investigative dream team and lots of glitz and glamour, with black-and white illustrations throughout by Luna Valentine.

Our tween protagonists in this series are Charley, a totally ordinary 13-year-old, who's also an international singing sensation, and George, Charley's best friend, social media whizz and budding comedian. But being famous doesn't always come in handy... In each book, very strange happenings seem to follo the two BFFs wherever they go, from heists to terrible accidents. And so they must whip out their detective hats to solve each mystery, sticking together no matter what.

We recommend this series to all fans of Sharna Jackson, David Baddiel and David O'Doherty.
