We are big fans of books illustrated by Hannah Peck, but this mystery-solving series is written by her too, perfect for readers aged 7+ and it is packed full of stunning illustrations.

Kate is a curious young girl, so much so that she is a reporter-in-training and even has her very own assistant, a little mouse called Rupert. In each book, the two characters have mysteries to solve, from understanding what's behind some strange happenings on the train all the way to travelling to jungles in search of a unique bird. And, of course, discovering the scoop of the century...

These are the perfect books for fans of Izzy the Inventor, Alice Eclair, Murder Most Unladylike and the Adventures on Trains series.
