Cat Kid Comic Club is the fantastic new colour graphic novel series by Dav Pilkey, author of The Adventures of Captain Underpants and Dog Man books.
This new series, starring Dog Man characters L’il Petey, Flippy and Molly, shows kids how to make their very own comics.
L’il Petey and his two able helpers introduce 21 rambunctious, funny and talented baby frogs to the art of comic making in the Cat Kid Comic Club classroom. As well as a hilarious and very silly story about the antics of the baby frogs, readers will learn about the practice, mistakes and persistence required to make a comic.
We love the idea behind this series, inspiring young readers to use their imaginations and create their very own stories. Like all Dav Pilkey books, the illustrations are brilliant and the stories-within-a-story are as exciting and absurd as ever, demonstrating a variety of techniques including using acrylic paints, coloured pencils, photography, watercolours and more.
