The Bromeliad Series

The Bromeliad series is also commonly referred to as the Nome Trilogy and was written by the one and only author of the Discworld Novels, Terry Pratchett. Though this series can be enjoyed at any age, we think it is particularly suited to readers aged 8 and above.

These books are about the smallest of creatures who live under the floorboards of a department store, hidden from human sight. They are the nomes. They may be tiny, but they sure are mighty: they're brave and incredibly resourceful in their search for a stable and secure home. In each book, the nomes must rethink what home looks like to them, and often their very own beliefs and political views are challenged throughout the process. Sometimes it means having to find home in new lands, other times it means sticking up for the place you feel you belong to. And finally, it can mean revisiting our roots.

Each book is incredibly funny, with twists and turns and sometimes even flights to outer space. The series has also been published as trilogy collections and also as a beautiful illustrated edition.
