Originally publishing as four picture books and a comic strip in Swedish between 1954 and 1975, the Moomins are now a multi-media franchise involving a TV show, films, video games, toys and even theme parks. 

The books all centre around The Moomins, a family who live in their house in Moominvalley, made up of Moominpappa, Moominmamma and their little boy Moomintroll. The series follows their many adventures with their various friends, who each have unique personalities offering opportunities to explore themes such as love, self-acceptance, community and more.

The Moomins have been loved for generations and generations, and will be perfect for fans of Meg and Mog and The Gruffalo books.
