About AboNINAbles
AboNINAbles are monsters created by illustrator Johanna Reynaud and her young daughter, Nina, using a technique based on Exquisite Corpse, a game French Surrealists played to stimulate creativity through collaboration. Each player contributes to an image by drawing a section on a sheet of paper that is folded to hide each individual contribution. Once revealed, the unique parts produce a combination with unpredictable and thrilling results. Through AboNINAbles, Johanna and Nina invite readers young and old to tap into the infinite power of the imagination.

Johanna Reynaud, also known as Gribouilliz, is a Canadian doodle artist whose work mainly consists of creating big characters out of dozens of little ones.
Doodles are very simple drawings, often made while doodler's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles can be very abstract shapes or represent everyday objects that we see and are surrounded by everyday.
