We have Quite a few of ‘That’s not my...’ books and I would highly recommend them.

The pictures are bright, and the textures are great, they are fun and great to find the different textures on each page.

Well made touchy feely book that has lots of different textures. My one year old loves to read these and gets them down herself to flick through. The books seem a perfect size for independence and she enjoys spotting the little mouse on each page.

Love this series of books, have red quite a few. I saw this at the library and hadn't read this one, so was excited to read it. My son is at the age where he takes more of an interest now, so he enjoys feeling the different textures and its the perfect size for him to hold the book himself. The bright colours appeal to him as well. Nice, short book for babies and toddlers.

As always, the 'That's not my...' series have made a fabulous high quality book that can be enjoyed by all. S loves tractors and so really enjoyed this book. It's simple, repetitive structure also means that he can follow and concentrate more easily than if I was trying to read him a full story book. These are perfect for quiet time with you and baby but also for baby to look at and explore independently. Could not recommend enough!

My youngest son enjoys this story because of the bright and colourful pictures and all the textures to feel fascinate him. It also appeals to my eldest son and we discuss why each tractor may not be the right one for example not the one with a rough seat because it wouldn't be nice to sit on. I really recommend the whole series.

We have a big collection of ‘That’s not my...’ books but this is often the ones my boys choose to read. It’s great quality, lots of different textures to feel and my eldest loves to talk about why we wouldn’t want that tractor for example the seat is to rough so he wouldn’t want to sit on it etc.

This touch-and-feel book has been a firm favourite with my children since they were extremely young!
My son in particular enjoys this as he's very fond of tractors.
The premise of the story is to meet several different tractors, each with a different focal point which explains why it's not the right tractor.
The tactile nature of the book will appeal to children as young as 6 months but it has the longevity to see children through toddlerhood as you can discuss the bold, clear illustrations in detail. You can make this story an exercise in colours, adjectives and use it to extend vocabulary.
I'm pleased to see how well it's lasted as it's been in constant rotation - now with two children - for th past two years!
