Mrs. Dotty Noodle has, rather riskily, asked her husband, Barmy, to tidy the hall cupboard while she goes out shopping. Of course, he gets into trouble as usual, which entails a trip to the blacksmith's via a stop at the local school where an unfortunate incident occurs. Fortunately he manages to sort it all out before Dotty returns home, blissfully unaware of what Barmy's been up to!
