A rhyming celebration of hope, told through the eyes of an introverted lead character, observing the inspiring ways an inclusive community celebrates light through the year. AGES: 3 to 5 AUTHOR: Katie Sahota is a passionate writer, avid reader and self-confessed nerd, data geek and spreadsheet queen with 20 years' experience as a public servant. After studying English Language, Linguistics and achieving a BSc in Computing, Katie more recently completed a Master's in Public Health and specialises in issues affecting the health and wellbeing of children and young people. Katie strongly believes in the power of writing and books to tackle important issues, such as identity, inclusion and race, using her experiences of a gender-biased career and as the mother of two mixed race girls with her husband.

Harry Woodgate (pronouns: they/them) is an award-winning illustrator, who was shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Awards 2019 and the Folio Society Book Illustration Competition 2018 and 2019. Grandad's Camper is inspired by their university dissertation, which revealed a lack of representation for older LGBT characters in children's books.
