This revised version of L is for London is our bigger and better guide to the capital and to London life. It contains many little known and quirky bite-sized facts, including a double-decker bus jumping across Tower Bridge (when the bridge started to open) and barristers too drunk to stand up to toast the King (setting a tradition still 'sitting' today). Our first edition of L is for London was the first A to Z of the city for more than 130 years.
This is Book 1 in the A is for Alphabet Series. See all A is for Alphabet books here.
