The humorous columnist, Miles Kington, wrote numerous short stories for his young son who, like most small children, was passionate about dinosaurs. One day, on a visit to Norwood Farm, a local rare breeds farm, the small boy wondered whether they might see a dinosaur. Thus The Rarest Dinosaur in the World was born. The story tells of how a dinosaur, returning from his hols, discovers all the other dinosaurs have died out. Lonely and frightened, for millions of years he tries to hide until, finally, he arrives at the rare breeds farm where he persuades the farmer to allow him to stay. Needless to say she does so, with unexpected results. A children's storybook with a text that adults will enjoy reading aloud, illustrated by Tim Slatter with vivid and exciting illustrations that will captivate children and grown-ups alike.
