I loved the look of this book the first time i saw it and it was a fun read. It follows the cat saying good night to all the animals. It will introduce your child to all types from dogs, rabbits , fox and owls. You can say the sounds that each makes along with talking about their environment. My daughter loves this book and you are also able to expose your child to different textures.

This book reminded me a lot of the children's classic 'Goodnight Moon' as it essential a story of a cat going round saying good night to all the animals. It's sweet though, the illustrations are cosy and comforting and the sleep triggers are all there - a lovely, simple bedtime book. The rhythmic nature of all the goodnights make it a great wind down book for little ones.

We read this as a bedtime story. Join the cat as she goes around saying goodnight to different animals before bedtime. They say the animals noises the animals make, which my daughter likes and she will do the noises. My daughter loves that on each page the animals have a velvety touch, which is soft and nice to feel, and she can stroke them. Its a pleasant, relaxing story, great for bed time.

This is a lovely bedtime story about a cat saying goodnight to the other animals that live nearby. Whilst children can engage with the story by making the sounds of the animals, I encouraged quite voices and the animals are sleepy so maybe we need to whisper 'goodnight'? This book was most popular with my daughter when she was around 3 but we sometimes still read it at bedtimes even now she is older.

Both my children have loved this book. My 4 year son loves to read this at bed time at the moment. He loves how the mummy cat goes and says goodnight to all the animals. He loves saying all the animal sounds especially at the end when you say them all quietly. A lovely bedtime story

I read this to my son when he was 12 months plus and he loved learning about all the animals and their sounds.  A good bedtime book because all the animals are sleepy and going to bed too!
