From Number One bestselling author David Walliams comes a hilarious and heartwarming picture book, brilliantly illustrated by the artistic genius, Tony Ross.
Up at the North Pole, a big furry polar bear is swimming, fishing and eating. But when she nods off and finds herself far from home, she thinks things can't get any worse.
But they can...
Much worse!
An outrageously funny picture book with an incredibly heartwarming message about celebrating difference - in all its forms.

This book was so much fun about a adventure of a polar bear who finds herself on a new island with a lot of brown bears, the story shows children that we can live together even if we are different no matter what colour we are... sometimes things can be scary when we are not sure but that’s ok time is a great learning curve.

Such a fun book-a brilliant story and illustrations. The story follows the misadventure of a polar bear, who eventually finds herself on a island of brown bears. The story is about differences, similarities and how they can live together.
My daughter found it really funny from start to finish.

This is a very funny book! It starts off with a polar bear at the North Pole who falls asleep and drifts off out to sea. She ends up completely lost and has to swim to the nearest island. Just when the polar bear thinks things can't get much worse they do. The island is inhabited by brown bears and they are not keen on white bears. This book had us all laughing out loud. It has a very funny story with a very lovely message about embracing our differences. We really enjoyed the exciting adventure of the very lost polar bear and would highly recommend this book.

My daughter has enjoyed this book and asked me to read it to her each night this week. It reads nicely and keeps her engaged throughout. I like the little captions too which add a bit of fun. The illustrations are great and it’s a lovely book overall. It has a nice theme too showing differences but accepting them, where the brown bears were initially scared of the white polar bear.
