Diana Effingham-Jones is a sensible child. So she does not panic when an escaped rhinoceros with a horrid cold walks into her sitting-room one winter evening. Instead she gives him a rhinoceros-sized serving of Influenza Mixture, cough cure and aspirins, and plenty of hot buttered toast.
A classic story of a very special friendship, by the much-loved author/illustrator Edward Ardizzone.
