My daughter is giraffe mad so this is the perfect book for her. We laugh when reading it as she can think of some great places to hide a giraffe if she won one at the fair. Some great pictures to chat about as well as an easy script to follow. Great fun

Brilliant book! My 3 year old has read it every other day since we received it.
Loves the silly ideas of what the 'Raff' can be and tells me constantly that she wants a pet Giraffe.

Will definitely be looking at other books by the same author.

My little boy really enjoyed this book, he found it fun. It's basically a guide which tells you all the places you can try and hide your cute pet giraffe. Although it's pretty difficult. My little boy found the illustrations funny and he enjoyed the giraffe trying to fit in the shower. Overall a great book, we liked the ending too.

My four year old twin girls really enjoyed this bright, funny book. What happens when, instead of a goldfish, you win a giraffe at the fair? With a silly story and bright colourful illustrations this book was a real hit with my girls.

The first thing that my daughter noticed about this book was the bubbles on the front cover as she is quite partial to a bubble bath herself. (The cover is textured too.) The inside of the book didn't disappoint either. She found it very funny.
The idea of winning a giraffe at a fair my daughter described as "so funny." She also loved how the giraffe was won complete with a gift bow. The book continues highlighting how tricky it is to keep a giraffe when really your parents don't approve of it being there as it is so big!
The super illustrations show you the many ideas that the girl tries to hide the giraffe. My daughter thought the funniest was painting the giraffe to look like a house.
The language is pitched well and words such as "camouflage" are also used. A super way of introducing new vocabulary, within context.
The illustrations were appreciated and my daughter loved the giraffe print end papers.
This is a fun read that my daughter enjoyed.
