Arthur, born gifted and resourceful, into a prominent family of bluebirds grows to become a leader until an unusual event turns him by accident into a hero. Soon enough his leadership and fame are challenged by ominous changes brought about by development taking place all around the bluebirds community of Walnut Hill. In the end Arthur meets his challenge like the hero his friends and neighbors admire and expect.
