First Tale.King Ripid is a good king but he worries too much and his subjects are stressed out because of his relentless attention to the affairs of the realm. When he accepts into his realm a new tribe, the Birds, things take a strange turn and the Birds find themselves in mortal danger. In the end Queen Lala, who loves the Birds, comes to the rescue and saves them from the dangers of the Boundary.
Second Tale:Prince Nathan wants to become the greatest king and tame Flaria so he can be the wisest among the wise. He becomes king of Altara but his ambition leads him into dishonorable adventures until he is defeated in a disastrous war. Desperate and hiding in the wilderness he comes upon Masha, a turtle, who restores him to the virtues and knowledge he had first learned from his beloved tutor Saldana. As Master Nabor he becomes known throughout Altara and is invited to become advisor to the new king of Altara. But Flaria says otherwise.
