Worlds WorstChildren is an amazing book.My favourite story is Ernest Earnest because Earnest`s mum wanted Earnest to smile but he would n`t smile because he`s Ernest Earnest. My favourite part is when Earnest , who`s now a science teacher , laughs at his assistant so much a medium - sized puddle of wee trails onto the floor and everybody in class laughs.

My son liked this book very much!! He liked that there were lots of different stories in 1 book and the pictures were really great!! For someone that struggles to read he really enjoyed this book and I often found him on his bed reading without any prompting!! Davis Walliams is a genius with how he writes and how he catches the children's imagination!! Can't wait to start the next one

This book was good for both my children aged 9 and 11. It is full of short stories which made them giggle and wow all the way through. Full of colourful pictures which my children loved. Our favourite was Bertha as it's the kind of thing that happens in our house and was something we related too. Can't wait to read the next book to this

I loved this book, it was really funny and had a message / moral to every story. My favourite was Bertha the Blubberer. She reminded me a little of myself (I try to get my little brother in trouble).
I liked how the stories were short and the pictures were great.

David Walliams is easily one of my favourite authors. He has a great sense of humour, and his books are delightful to read. This book is my favourite one. It contains stories about really bad children that are extremely funny. This book is a must for everyone.

My 2 boys love this book as there are so many naughty children in it, plus all the references to bodily functions which they find hysterically funny.

David Walliams writes great kids books. Great characters and lots of fun for children to read.

I started to read this to my eldest son who really enjoyed it. Within minutes my youngest two were eagerly listening too. My two year old laughed along with the boys. I’ve never seen three children , at very different ages laughing so much at a book. It was a joy to see them enjoy it so much. I’ve ended up reading it twice to them and the laughs just get better and better!

Hilarious.  This is a book my 8yr old has read over and over.  Favourite character has to be 'Brian Wong who was never ever wrong'.  He's so keen to prove he is right about everything that he ends up trying to count to infinity.  Impossible, I know, but he doesn't think so.  At the end of the story he's still counting on his death bed.  Ridiculous but at the same time possibly a little lesson on pride!

From Number One bestselling author David Walliams comes this collection of wickedly funny, deliciously mischievous tales, illustrated in glorious colour by the artistic genius Tony Ross.

Being a huge fan of David Walliams books I can first say this book didn't disappoint, from its lovely cover to the wonderful, hilarious stories and Tony Ross' beautiful illustrations all in all a fantastic package.
The book starts with a warning from Raj not to read this
book and it really wouldn't be a Walliams book without Raj!
What follows is a collection of five stories of the worst boys and five of the worst girls, each story hilariously disgusting.
The Ross illustrations perfectly accompany the stories in full colour, with giant bogey balls, bottom burps etc!
As an adult the stories made me laugh, but children aged 5 - 12 will love the rudeness and text play and of course Raj shaking his head throughout the stories too.
I give this book 5 / 5 and highly recommend it to children and adults who want to remember the yucky stuff of their youth.

I liked the book very much. The illustrations are hilarious. My favourite character was Grubby Gertrude because at the end it served her right to be eaten up by the gross garbage monster. The other character who I liked was Sofia Sofa because she likes to watch television the same as me, also I found it funny when her Mom and Dad called the whole street to heave Sofia out from the sofa. If there was a volume 2 I would love to read it.

I liked how each different character in each story had a different way to react.
My favourite charcters was dribbling Drew because he dribbled alot. On his school trip he was top of his class and his dribbles made a river. He wrote down all the things in the museum and he came top of the class.
There a lots of characters in this story because their are lots of stories in it.
I enjoyed it because the stories made me laugh.

This was a really gross book, David Walliams is really funny.  There are lots of different stories in this book and my favourite was Windy Mindy because she farts a lot (like my sister) and in the end she couldn't stop farting.  There was a picture on nearly every single page and they were really good water colours.  This book made me laugh a lot.

David Walliams comes up trumps again. This beautifully presented book had me laughing out loud. Definitely a book you can't put down. I read two to my class on a coach journey and really enjoyed being the voice of Windy Mind and her ever so posh Head Mistress. Hilariously funny with relatable themes. Please write more short stories!!!

Mum: Hilarious stories about disgusting and revolting children. The length of the stories is just right to be read in one sitting. My son laughed all the way through the stories. He was most amused at the characters' rudeness and awful behaviour (children picking noses, drooling,  passing wind etc).

My son: I liked this book. It is very funny. My favourite story was 'Dribbling Drew'. I also liked 'Peter Picker'. The pictures are a bit like the ones in the Roald Dahl books. The stories are different from the Roald Dahl ones. These have naughty children in them and no good ones. They have to learn not to do something.

Read to my 4 and 6 year old they both loved it although the 6 year old more. 10 short stories so great for bedtime as not too long. Some of the stories are gross and  I did change a few words to more acceptable ones for a 4 year old. They both laughed throughout. For grownups they are great too with a moral to the stories but not always something younger kids get.

My 6-year-old LOVES this collection of stories and asks for them again and again. I like them but do get a bit bored if I have to read them too often - after repeated readings they are a little bit 'samey'. Have ordered the second volume for him for Xmas for a bit of novelty for me! Great humour for kids, classic Walliams!

The worlds worst children is made up of short stories about awful children instead of the long stories of his other books.  I enjoyed reading about these awful children but I thought it was weird.  The children are dreadful and I think I prefer David Walliams longer books where the grown ups are usually the awful ones.
