Vivian French MBE was first published in 1990 and has since published over 270 titles. Together with Lucy Juckes, Vivian founded Picture Hooks in 2013, a project that supports emerging Scottish illustrators.
More about Vivian FrenchJulia Patton studied embroidery in Manchester. She worked as a freelance illustrator for Paperchase and a set designer for Cosgrove Hall before embarking on an MA in illustration in Edinburgh. She now illustrates full time in a beautiful part of Northumberland where she lives with her husband and two young sons.
