My daughter enjoyed this book. She liked the adventure and intrigue of who stole the diamond. We read it quite slowly, just several pages a night before bed, but it still kept her interest!

This was an exciting adventure that would probably be perfect for a child age 7+ . I won it for my daughter age 5 and although she loved the synopsis and the idea of cute little bunnies being heroic secret agents protecting the Queen, she lost the plot of the story quite quickly as lots is going on and many characters are introduced. I will definitely be saving it for when she is a little older as I think it will be enjoyed then.
The book has lovely illustrations throughout and I found it to be a fun and thrilling story that was quite original.

A beautiful illustrated book, shylo is a weak and quiet animal and his brothers and sisters make fun of him.

He has an epic journey to London to warn the Royal Rabbits of a plot against them, Shylo is shy though so you will need to read the book to see if he is able to convince them that the queen Rabbit is in danger.

I really loved this book, it’s one of my favourites.

Highly recommended

Arthur really enjoyed this story, he found it action packed and eventful, with lots going on! The characters came to life and he’s now keen to read the rest of the series. It also sparked interest in some of the animals involved, he was interested to learn more about mink, for example. His 7 year old brother has started it and is also enjoying it, but does need help with some of the name pronunciation. The illustrations are fantastic and really add to the book as a whole. Definitely recommended if you enjoy an adventure mystery!

The queen' s diamond was stolen and the royal rabbits now need to get it back! There are rats, minks, wolves, and even a tiger in the story and on this adventure to find out who has stolen it and how to get it back. My son enjoyed the characters and seeing that some of them do judo just like him, but the story isn't as fast paced/objective as it could be for his age and I think he was getting lost with so many names of characters. The story was a bit long for us to read before bedtime. I've been reading it over a week for him and my son is still interested, but not as excited as I hoped he would get, given that he always loves stories with animals, adventures and mysteries. This story will probably be more of a success to 7+ children.
