Everything around you is made up of materials. We use materials to make objects such as tables and chairs, shoes and clothes, cars and aircraft. This book looks at how materials can change. Some materials, such as clay or plasticine, can change shape. Some materials, such as water, can freeze, condense or evaporate. Some materials can dissolve, such as sugar or salt, and some can change for ever, such as candles or wood.
This is Book 2 in the Working with Materials Series. See all Working with Materials books here.
