Everything around you is made up of materials. We use materials to make objects such as tables and chairs, shoes and clothes, cars and aircraft. Some materials come in blocks or sheets. Others come as liquids or powders. We have to shape them to turn them in to objects. This book looks at the ways we shape different materials, for example by cutting, folding or moulding.
This is Book 7 in the Working with Materials Series. See all Working with Materials books here.
