The 'Out of School' series is designed to provide adults involved in extended schools and wrap-around care with simple, cost effective solutions to keep children interested, involved and learning. The series aims to offer resources that have a focuson enjoyment, and give priority to learning but without being just more school. So the activities are short, fun-filled and lively, and will keep children profitably busy. A set of dominoes and a pencil and paper are all that is need to play these enjoyable games. Those included range from the traditional games familiar to many from their childhood to more unusual and interesting examples, such as 'Buccaneer', 'Muggins' and 'Freeze Out!'. The games are suitable for a wide range of children and the instructions have been written so that older children can play independently or introduce younger friends to their favourites. Consolidates and extends key skills beyond lesson time.
This is Book 3 in the Out of School Series. See all Out of School books here.
