Reader 6, Level 6, Great Speeches edited by Sue Hackman. An anthology of extracts from important speeches in history, ranging from Oliver Cromwell's dismissal of parliament to Nelson Mandela's speech when he became President of South Africa. The speeches are arranged thematically under topics such as 'Visions for a better world', 'Saying the right thing at the right moment', 'War' and 'Justice', and there are photos of some of the speakers throughout the book.
