The different types of angels are introduced, including guardian and fallen angels, and each of the most famous angels has their own page devoted to them. The book includes most of the well-known saints - from the Apostles and John the Baptist, to St Joan of Arc, St Bernadette and St Patrick - and the famous archangels - Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. As well as outlining each saint's life story and the work of the angels, there are also details of their feast days and patronages. A calendar of feast days is also included.
