A warm, humorous tale about a cautious little elephant's domestic adventure. Squeak has a good idea: he's going outside. But every time he's about to step out of the door, he remembers something he needs to take with him. First, he thinks it might be cold, so he fetches some warm clothes. Then, he thinks it may rain, so he fetches waterproof clothes, and then he wonders whether he might get hungry, so he collects a picnic just to be on the safe side! When he finally makes it out of the back door to the end of his garden, Momma and Poppa and Tumble join him - lucky he brought so many things!
