The fifth screamingly funny novel from David Walliams, number one bestseller and fastest growing children's author in the country.
Hot on the heels of bestselling Gangsta Granny comes another hilarious, action-packed and touching novel - the story of a little girl called Zoe. Things are not looking good for Zoe. Her stepmother Sheila is so lazy she gets Zoe to pick her nose for her. The school bully Tina Trotts makes her life a misery - mainly by flobbing on her head. And now the evil Burt from Burt's Burgers is after her pet rat! And guess what he wants to do with it? The clue is in the title...
From the author that is being called `a new Roald Dahl', Ratburger is not to be missed!

I liked that you didn't know what was going to happen next and the plot followed on through the chapters and doesn't go off into different places.
My favourite character was Zoe because she was brave enough to go off and the save the other hamsters. All the characters have their own personality.
This book is funny throughout the book, but it is a little sad at the end!

This is a tale about a girl called Zoe who finds a rat and decides that it is her pet. She takes it to school until she finds out that the evil burger seller at school is selling rat meat in the burgers! This is a great tale I really would recommend it.

Leona loves this book another fab book by David walliams. Zoe finds a rat who becomes her pet. It’s a story of Zoe dealing with unemployed dad an evil step mum and being bullied. She takes her rat to school to then find out about the rat catcher who has been making burgers from them. It’s a great story highly recommend

My daughter loves Walliums books and has read quite a few now (almost all of them!) and was excited to start this one especially as it's a hardback they're her favourite!!

She loved the storyline as there was excitement and suspense at the end like in demon dentist! The characters are as usual easy to get to know and enjoy, always including Raj the newsagent! Tamzin loves it when he appears I the storyline again!

Walliums has a hint of Dahl about him in that there's always a mean bully of an adult and a child hero, a concept of which is a proven winning formula and is adored by my children.

I really like the characters because they were all individual and unique in their own right.
The book is full of adventure and has you gripped from the start.
There are illustrations used throughout the book which adds more excitement to the story.
The book made me feel happy and want to buy more David Walliams books.
