Born in Harrow in 1946, Michael Rosen is a brilliant and energetic author and poet. He has written 140 books on a wide variety of subjects, from Shakespeare to fellow author Roald Dahl but is probably best known for his fabulous and quirky poems.

Harry Horse was born in Coventry. He wrote and illustrated several children's books - including THE LAST POLAR BEARS and THE OGOPOGO, which won the Scottish Arts Council Writers' Award. He was well-known as a political cartoonist and produced cartoons for the New Yorker, The Guardian, Scotland on Sunday and The Scotsman. Harry died in 2007.
