Meet the brilliant, the wonderful, the courageous ... Safari Pug! The third book in a joyful illustrated series for fans of Claude and Squishy McFluff.

When Pug and Lady Miranda have a scary run-in with a lion one night (it might be hiding under the bed), Lady M decides Pug needs to face his fears and go on safari. Pug goes a bit wobbly when he finds out he'll be coming nose to nose with Florence, the rare white lion cub, but he soon realises that lions may not be the most dangerous thing in the wildlife park ...

I love all the Laura James pug books, but I think this is my most favourite yet. I read it in one night, and I thought it was sweet and funny.  I loved the pictures too.  Nice big writing, and coloured pictures make it more fun for me to read.  I can't wait for Pirate pug next!!

We really enjoy reading books in the 'Pug' series and had to get this one when we saw it. In this story Pug the dog and his owner Lady Miranda are off on Safari. Hoping to make Pug a little braver and face his fears they head off to the local Wildlife Park to meet a real lion. Whenever Pug and Lady Miranda go out for the day it always turns into an exciting adventure and their Safari trip is no different. They meet a few different wild animals and even a celebrity. This is a great book with a fun story and some fantastic illustrations. We will definitely be reading more of Pug's adventure stories.

Lady Miranda, Pug's owner, has a nightmare about a lion being in her bedroom.  So they end up going to a safari for a day

They come across a mean actor who tries to spoil the day, can Lady Miranda's running footmen save the day!

I really wished there had been another part to this book, I want to know what happened to the badie at the end of the story.

In this story, Pug has a bad dream about a lion so Lady Miranda takes him to the Safari Park. It's very funny and a bit exciting as Pug is nearly eaten by a lion. I would recommend the book for all children who like animal stories, especially if they are about pugs.
