This debut novel from US cartoonist Terri Libenson follows two girls who could not seem more different: shy, observant, wallflower Emmie; and loud, popular, cheery Katie. What both girls do have in common are their strong feelings for the same boy, Tyler Ross. Then Emmie's very private, very embarrassing scribbles fall into the wrong hands . . .

My 9 yearold enjoyed reading this book. She found it really easy to read and didnt take her long. She said it was about 2 girls one was very quiet and one was loud and they both liked the same boy. She said it was good to read because it was like the girls in her school.

A story of two very different girls. One sweet, quiet and shy, the other popular and outgoing, and what happens when an embarrassing love-note gets into the wrong hands!
Written in a clever mix of cartoon-style illustrations, it tells two versions of life in an average school day with all the usual twists, dreams, woes, awkwardness and dramas which lots of young girls will be able to identify with - and grown-up girls! Such memories of school days are never forgotten!
Great and unexpected twist at the end of the story.
Really lovely book!
I read it in half a day and I know our nearly 9 year old is going to love it too.

This is a book about a Nobody who suddenly becomes a Somebody. I really loved this book and Emmie. It is a perfect book to read if you've ever felt invisible at school or at home. I really liked all the illustrations. It is a really uplifting book.

I really enjoyed Invisible Emmie, it was an extremely good book and i thoroughly, and i mean thoroughly enjoyed the twist at the end- i thought it was well conceived and executed beautifully.

This is a great book for those who like the diary format- think Diary of a Wimpy Kid or Dork Diaries and fans of cartoons mixed in with their stories- think Tom Gates etc. This is a bit more in depth and with a whole heap of other meaning is written in here.

I liked the contrast between the two central characters, not just in how they were portrayed but also how their cartoons were presented. This was very clever.

A great story overall, easy enough to read in one sitting and i read it cover to cover.

great book I forgot all about this giveaway then it came! its nice an quick easy to get through and I finished it in a day. It was a bit complicated in some parts swapping from girl to girl but all together I really enjoyed it. emilie was a girl who was shy and unpopular and feels like she's invisible. then she creates and imaginary friend that helps her face her fears. Its a lovely story about confidence and I would recommend to everyone

Addie really enjoyed this book. She found it easy to read and really liked the cartoon/illustration style of the book. Lots of pictures and little bits of writing made the format different than anything she has read recently. The characters were likeable and Addie could relate to Emmie, who was her favourite character
