I have a few guinness world record books at home. I got this one from school, as my book of choice to take home, which I chose. I think these books are really interesting, and I learn lots of new facts. I like that theres a contents page, so I can skip to areas I'm more interested in first, like science and technology, or earth. I like the pictures of things that go along with the information, so I can see rather than have to imagine. Its a good size book, so I read bits of it each day. There are some really funny world records, and some really amazing ones. I read about things I've never heard of before, so it is an eye opening book. One you can reed over

This must have been given to my son when he was six. At that time it was just flicked through, looking more at the photos and images than anything else. Recently he has picked it up again and started to read sections of interest to him (Dinosaurs, Killer plants and Building Toys). It is an incredibly educational book, something to dip in and out of as you please. Make great Christmas gifts.

Which was the fastest game bird in Europe - the golden plover or the grouse? He realized then that a book supplying the answers to this sort of question might prove popular. He was right!
