This is a real laugh out loud book by Roger Hargreaves - another classic Mr Men book.  The illustrations are bright simple and colourful and the story is just the right length to keep an under 6 year old entertained for just long enough! my boys loved the story - and laughed alot at the rude remarks that Mr Rude made - what we love about these books is that as well as being classics - every story has a moral to it so it makes for a great discussion after reading it. 5 stars for this! x

Mr Rude is (as you can guess) very rude - to everyone. He is horrible to Little Miss Tiny when Mr Happy is nearby and Mr Happy takes it upon himself to teach Mr Rude a lesson. He turns up at Mr Rude's house and doesn't leave! Persistence and a fortnight of sleep-overs pay off and Mr Rude is a changed man and discovers he has manners after all.

The illustrations are simple but vivid and complement the text wonderfully. My toddlers enjoy them immensely!

The book is small which makes it perfect for little ones to handle and read independently. They are pretty durable as we haven't had any torn pages yet.

This is another playful, classic tale from the Mr Men series.

About Adam Hargreaves

It all started with a tickle. Roger Hargreaves' son Adam asked him what a tickle looked like. In response, Roger drew a small orange man with extraordinarily long arms that could reach anywhere and tickle anyone. The idea that a tickle could be a character in its own right sparked an idea in Roger's mind. Roger was a successful copywriter but he wanted to do...
