The most famous enemies in the animal kingdom finally meet face-to-face... and the fur is about to fly!

Oscar is a rowdy pooch who loves everybody - except katts! His family of down-to-earth doggs enjoys giving those snooty katts a hard time.

Molly is a pretty kitty who's destined for fame and fortune as an actress. Her family of well-bred katts thinks all doggs are dirty and disgusting!

But while on family camping trips, Molly and Oscar get hopelessly lost in the dangerous woods. The only way for them to survive is for the mortal enemies to work together...

Yeah, not gonna happen!

A really enjoyed reading this book. The Dogg family and the Katt family are holidaying in a nature reserve. These two families don't really like each other very much because cats and dogs don't get on. During their break away, both Oscar Dogg and Molly Katt get lost in the wilderness. What is really nice is that although at first, thet didn't like each other, they soon realised how much they had in common. Instead of seeing the bad, they began to see the good. I found the book very funny. I couldn't put it down. The illustrations are great too. A really good book!

Another good book to add to my James Patterson collection

I really enjoyed reading Katt v Dogg. The two characters are VERY funny and so different. The drawings  help capture  the story. It has  lots of jokes in it which made me laugh throughout the book

I recommend the book to any James Patterson fan and for children who like stories about animals and like funny books.

Even though its a fiction book it also tells you true facts about the animals which is clever.

It's about a dog family and cat family that hate each other and are racing each other on the motorway heading for the end of civilisation. But when Molly [ cat family's daughter ] and Oscar [ dog family's son] go missing in the end of civilisation they have to work together to survive and find their families. Will Molly survive with a stupid dog? Will Oscar survive with a horrible cat? I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of 8.

I really enjoyed reading Katt v Dogg. The two characters are really funny and I liked that they were so different. The illustrations help to tell the story and it's got lots of jokes in it, so will make you laugh when you read it. The setting is a holiday camp so it will be a good book to read on holiday. I recommend the book for children who like stories about animals, especially funny stories!

This is a really good book that I would definitely recommend to other people. I like how it was about animals and written from their point of view rather than humans. It is an adventure story but it made me laugh too. I can’t pick one favourite bit because I loved it all.

Katt vs. Dog is brilliant!!!! It’s such a funny book that is fiction, but it also contains lots of interesting facts about cats and dogs. The story shows us that enemies can become friends if they work together. I loved the jokes, they really made me laugh! I have showed this book to my class and told them what I think of it. My teacher let me read out a few of the jokes and now lots of my friends want to read it!

This is  an amazing story about a dog called Oscar and a cat named Molly. As everyone knows these creatures are enemies in the animal world and we can't really do anything about it. The situation they found themselves during their holiday in Western Frontier Park could cost them their lives. The had to find the way to get home safely however there was no so easy solution for this. They had to accept the fact that if they wanted to survive they had to fight for each other (not with each other:)).

I read this book last night and laughed out loud. I can't praise this book enough. It's perfect even for my sister who starting to read on her own.
I really liked the story - it was a real fun to read! I loved the fact that there were so many great illustrations which perfectly reflected the text.

I love all animal based books and I'm so happy that this one is on my bookshelf now - I'm sure I will read it again and again...

We shared the reading of this book. The last Patterson that we read was Max Einstein: The Genius Experiment. This particular book is more suited for a slightly younger audience than the former one. Not as complicated (This was what I mostly found anyway, I think my son did too, due to all the scientific theorizing in the Max Einstein novel.) My son initially said ‘I can’t see Katts and Doggs ever getting on. The Dogg character, Oscar, looks a bit like a Beaver (Scouts).’ I, myself, was a bit surprised to see that the characters are anthromorphised versions of cats and dogs. The black and white illustrations if anything are a bit ‘twee’. It is easy to read and the chapters are very short, which does encourage the reader (especially my son) to keep going. There are a lot of groan worthy jokes about cats and dogs in particular, (‘Help Oscar Sniff His Way Home, ‘ This bark is worse with every bite’. There was a squirrel one as well: ‘Are they serving nuts on this flight?’) The ending was cute, my son wasn’t as impressed, but he did see the rather obvious message to the story. An enjoyable book, but not one Patterson’s best. Fans of Dog Diaries will like it I am sure though.
